CAMRA is the Campaign for Real Ale. It is a voluntary consumer organisation and has branches nationwide. It has often been described as the most successful consumer group in Europe with a membership in excess of 80,000. CAMRA aims to maintain consumer rights, promote quality and choice of beers and ciders and perries and to do everything it can to support the public house as a focus of community life.
